Vardy Reveals Ndidi and Iheanacho Used 'Juju Cream'

Jamie Vardy, a former player for Leicester City from 2012 to 2025, shared on his podcast that his Nigerian teammates, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, utilized "juju cream" to aid in their recovery from injuries while at the club. Vardy recalled that Ndidi and Iheanacho traveled to Nigeria to obtain this cream, which was then applied by the club's physiotherapists to treat minor injuries.

He mentioned that the cream was used for various injuries, allowing players to recover quickly. Vardy also referenced a Ghanaian witch doctor who failed to predict the outcome of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which led him to reflect on his experiences with Ndidi and Iheanacho.

During their time at Leicester, Iheanacho faced four major injuries, while Ndidi dealt with nine significant injury spells. Despite these challenges, Iheanacho made 232 appearances and scored 61 goals, while Ndidi featured in 273 matches and scored 17 goals.
