Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc has reported a strong financial performance in the first half of 2025, showcasing a robust position in the Nigerian insurance industry. The company recorded a Gross Premium Written of billion, marking an 8 percent increase from the previous year.

Net Insurance Investment Income also saw a significant surge of 244 percent to billion. Profit before Tax stood at billion, surpassing the total earnings for 2024.

The Managing Director and CEO highlighted the company's strength in underwriting, business model, and customer focus. Total assets rose by 11 percent to N37 billion, reflecting improved financial health and operational efficiency.

Shareholders' Funds also grew to billion in H1 2025, underscoring increasing investor confidence. The company's performance was attributed to strategic choices, disciplined underwriting, investment optimization, expanded digital capabilities, and a strong emphasis on service delivery.
