VeryDarkMan Calls Out Dangote Over 22-Year-Old Lady Allegedly Abandoned in Hospital

Activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has accused Dangote Group of abandoning a 22-year-old accident victim in a hospital in Auchi. The victim, identified as Ruth, was allegedly crushed by one of the company's trucks.

Despite Dangote Group's assurance to cover her medical expenses, VDM shared a video showing the young woman in a hospital ward at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, where she has been receiving treatment for nearly a year. The activist claimed that the victim has spent 11 months in the hospital with accumulated medical bills of N5 million, and neither the truck driver nor the company has taken responsibility.

VDM demanded accountability from Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, threatening to prevent Dangote trucks from operating in Auchi until the company takes care of the victim. As of the time of reporting, Dangote Group had not responded to the fresh allegations.
