Chelsea Football Club is set to visit Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time in its history in May as part of its global fan engagement program. The club announced this on its website, stating that former player and ex-Super Eagles forward Victor Moses will headline the activities during the visit. This event will be the penultimate stop in Chelsea's 2025-26 season fan engagement initiative, which aims to strengthen ties with supporters worldwide. The Lagos event will feature a weekend of activities, including watch parties and exclusive events, where fans will have the chance to win signed merchandise. Chelsea emphasized that attendance at the Lagos event will be subject to a ballot registration process, which does not guarantee attendance. Victor Moses enjoyed a successful spell with Chelsea, being part of the squad that won the Premier League title in the 2016-17 season and representing Nigeria at international levels, including the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA World Cups in 2014 and 2018.
