VivaJets CEO Chukwuerika Achum urges African governments, regulators, and financial institutions to tackle deep-rooted operational challenges stifling the aviation industry's progress. Speaking at the Africa Financial Summit, Achum highlighted issues like complex regulations, visa restrictions, low trust among African businesses, high insurance premiums, and currency challenges.

He emphasized the need to address unnecessary visa restrictions for African airline crews, inconsistent regulatory processes for permits, and the additional costs faced by African operators due to currency conversion challenges. Despite these obstacles, Achum remains optimistic about finding solutions.
