Super Falcons Secure 1-0 Win Against Zambia in WAFCON

On Saturday night, Nigeria's Super Falcons triumphed over Zambia's Copper Queens 1-0 in a WAFCON group-stage match held in Rabat. The victory was marked by an early goal from star forward Asisat Oshoala in the 8th minute, who finished clinically after receiving a sharp pass inside the box.

The match took a significant turn when central defender Tosin Demehin received a red card in the 40th minute, reducing Nigeria to ten players. Despite this setback, Head Coach Justin Madugu made tactical adjustments, including substituting defender Shukurat Oladipo for debutant Rofiat Imuran early in the second half.
