WAFCON: Brighton give hero’s welcome to Super Falcons goalie, Nnadozie

Brighton Hove Albion recently gave a hero's welcome to Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, who joined the English Women Super League club on a free transfer from Paris FC. Nnadozie, named the best goalkeeper in the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations, received applause and a standing ovation from her new teammates and staff.

She is expected to take on the role of Brighton's first-choice goalkeeper for the upcoming season. The Nigerian shot-stopper will make her debut for the team against Aston Villa at Broadfield Stadium on September 7.

Nnadozie's delayed arrival was due to her participation in the African tournament where she helped the Super Falcons claim their 10th title.
