Warri–Itakpe train services to resume soon after repairs – FG announces

The Federal Government and the Nigerian Railway Corporation have announced that the Warri-Itakpe train services will soon resume after temporary suspension for urgent repairs. The NRC Chief Public Relations Officer, Callistus Unyimadu, stated that the suspension was necessary to allow for critical track repairs to ensure the safety, reliability, and comfort of passengers.

Unyimadu mentioned that the repair work is at an advanced stage and normal service will recommence in the shortest possible time. He appreciated passengers for their patience during the disruption and assured them of the NRC's commitment to providing safe and efficient rail services nationwide.

The corporation will communicate the exact date of resumption in due course.
