DHQ Responds to Viral Video of Alleged IPOB Figure, Gentl De Yahoo, Assures Ongoing Investigations

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) reacted to a viral video suggesting the return of Ifeanyi Ez Okorienta, popularly known as Gentl De Yahoo, allegedly linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The video, circulated by IPOB loyalists, claimed his return but was dismissed by DHQ as fake.

The video, featuring Gentl De Yahoo with a visible limp, prompted concerns about his alleged return and intentions. However, the military assured the public that investigations were ongoing to address the situation and maintain peace in the country.

Additionally, the DHQ mentioned ongoing joint operations with sister security agencies to address security challenges, including capturing suspects linked to the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Imo State. Despite the video's circulation, no official confirmation was provided regarding the operations mentioned.
