FIFA's Anti-Racism Panel Led by Weah and Drogba Aims to Combat Discrimination

FIFA has launched a star-studded anti-racism panel led by prominent figures like George Weah, Didier Drogba, and Brazil's Formiga. The 16-member Players Voice Panel aims to combat racism in football through public awareness initiatives and support for change.

The panel includes men and women players from 14 countries, appointed by FIFA to address discrimination in the sport. The move follows recent incidents of racism in football, including the abuse of Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized the panel's role in providing support to victims and driving positive change in football. Panel members expressed their commitment to using football as a unifying force and promoting equality in the sport.
