Pastor Chris Okafor Calls for Stricter Regulations After Remarriage Plan Leak

Okafor lamented that his remarriage plan was leaked by an active blogger and social media influencer, leading to unverified damaging accusations against him.

The incident stemmed from allegations made by Nollywood actress Dori Ogala, claiming Okafor's involvement in a failed relationship and accusing him of serious crimes like murder. Okafor emphasized the need for stricter regulations in Nigeria's digital space to prevent such baseless attacks and ensure innocent citizens are not wrongly targeted.

He urged the National Assembly to introduce laws to regulate online activities and punish offenders to deter cybercrimes. Okafor highlighted the negative impact of false accusations on individuals' lives and stressed the importance of safeguarding reputations in the digital age.
