Moffi Confident Super Eagles Will Defeat Zimbabwe

Terem Moffi, a striker for the Super Eagles, stated that Nigeria will overcome Zimbabwe when they meet in the semi-final of the 2026 Unity Cup at Vallei Stadium, Charlton, on Tuesday. Moffi, who has 19 senior international caps, spoke confidently during a training session in London, where 14 players gathered.

He highlighted the contributions of home-based players and expressed pride in representing Nigeria. Moffi mentioned that despite the complicated recent history between Nigeria and Zimbabwe, he feels no pressure and is focused on enjoying the game.

He aims to lead Nigeria's attack in the semi-final, especially with key players like Victor Osimhen and Akor Adam absent from the squad. The final of the tournament is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, where India will face Jamaica.
