Tinubu Assures Nigerians of Overcoming Economic Challenges

President Bola Tinubu, during a special prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja to mark his 74th birthday, assured Nigerians that the country will overcome current challenges, including electricity supply issues and inflation, which have been worsened by the ongoing war in the Middle East. He acknowledged the difficulties faced by the nation but expressed confidence in Nigeria's resilience and commitment to overcoming hardships.

The prayer session, which took place at around 3:00 PM, was attended by various dignitaries, including Vice President Kashim Shettima and traditional rulers like the Sultan of Sokoto, Yahaya Abubakar. Tinubu emphasized the importance of prayer for national peace and unity and thanked Nigerians for their goodwill messages.

He attributed the current economic challenges to external factors beyond Nigeria's control and called for a rededication to progress and development. The session featured recitations from the Holy Quran and was described by attendees as a solemn spiritual exercise.
