WEMA Bank Marks 81st Anniversary with Customer Rewards

WEMA Bank, Nigeria's oldest indigenous bank, is set to celebrate its 81st anniversary and the 9th anniversary of its digital banking platform, ALAT, on May 2nd, 2026. The bank will adopt a different approach compared to its 80th anniversary celebrations in 2025, focusing on giving back to its customers.

The anniversary celebrations will feature a reward initiative through the ALAT app, marking the 5th season of this program. The theme for the anniversary is "Future Possibilities," emphasizing the bank's commitment to helping various demographics, including students and women, achieve their business goals.
