Peter Obi Critiques Tinubu's Government Over Debt Crisis

Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate and member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), criticized the government of Bola Tinubu during the party's national convention in Abuja. He asserted that Nigeria is heading towards disaster due to the rising debt profile under Tinubu's administration.

Obi highlighted that despite the removal of fuel subsidies, which the current administration claims will help reduce borrowing and redirect funds towards national development, the government continues to increase its borrowing. He emphasized the need for Nigerians to collectively respond to the economic challenges facing the country.

Additionally, Obi expressed concern over the increasing divisions within Nigeria and the worsening global terror ranking under the current administration, urging for national unity and security improvements.
