Ondo State Governor Emphasizes Faith and Civic Responsibility at 50th Anniversary Jumat Service

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, during the state's 50th-anniversary Jumat service at the Central Mosque in Akure, highlighted the significance of faith and civic responsibility in governance. He expressed gratitude for Allah's blessings on the state and its people, emphasizing the need for righteous justice and service.

Aiyedatiwa acknowledged the contributions of religious leaders and institutions in strengthening governance and nurturing social cohesion. The Chief Imam of Akure, Sheikh Abdulhaheem Yayi Akorod, commended past and present leaders for their efforts in developing the state.

He praised Governor Aiyedatiwa's initiatives, including sponsoring Muslim pilgrimages and enhancing education. The Imam also urged increased Muslim representation in the state cabinet.
