Kwara State Government Invests Heavily in Education Infrastructure and Innovation

The Kwara State Government has made substantial investments in education infrastructure and innovation, focusing on tertiary education. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's administration has approved key capital projects, such as renovating and upgrading facilities at 14 institutions, including Kwara State College of Education and Kwara State University (KWASU).

The government also allocated funds for laboratory equipment, library furniture, e-learning software, and ICT systems. Notably, KWASU achieved 100% accreditation for 25 academic programs.

Additionally, increased bursaries and scholarships were approved for Kwara indigenes, including law students.
