U.S.-Israeli Strike on Iran Escalates Regional Tensions

On Saturday, a joint U.S.-Israeli military operation targeted Iran, resulting in the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as confirmed by Iranian state media. The operation involved 200 fighter jets conducting simultaneous airstrikes across western and central Iran.

In retaliation, Iran launched missile strikes on U.S. military bases in the region, declaring them legitimate targets. The strikes reportedly resulted in 201 deaths and 747 injuries across 24 provinces in Iran, including an attack on a school in southern Iran.
