Minister Reveals Bandits Exploit Poor Network for Coordination in Nigeria

Minister Bosun Tijani, speaking on a TV program, revealed how bandits and terrorists take advantage of Nigeria's poor telecommunication network to coordinate their activities. He mentioned that the lack of network coverage and multiple tower areas allow criminals to use advanced communication methods, such as bouncing calls.

Recent incidents in Kogi State, including a church attack, underscore the security threats posed by these coordinated activities. The Minister also discussed issues with unregistered and fraudulent SIM card usage despite government policies.

The government's efforts to upgrade infrastructure and combat these security challenges were also highlighted.
