Cubana Chief Priest Urges Igbos to Support Tinubu

Cubana Chief Priest, a socialite entrepreneur, has made an appeal for the Igbo people to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in anticipation of the 2027 elections. He argues that supporting Tinubu could help facilitate the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

This call follows a viral video featuring Igwe Ezema Olo and Dr. Lawrence Agubuzo, who visited Abuja to directly appeal to Tinubu regarding Kanu's continued detention.

In the video, a monarch pleaded with the president to heed the cries for Kanu's release. Cubana Chief Priest praised the royal father's intervention and stressed the importance of engaging with the federal government.

He highlighted that Tinubu's political strength and the need for the South East to embrace political alignment, noting that Tinubu won the last election without the South East's support and would likely win again. He urged the region to consider their best political strategy and not waste their votes.
