Davido Names Hostel After Mother at Abia University

Afrobeat superstar Davido inaugurated a female hostel at Clifford University in Abia State, naming it after his late mother, Veronica Adeleke, who was an educationist and philanthropist. During the university's convocation ceremony, Davido emphasized the importance of talent, purpose, and impact in one's life.

The event also saw the presence of nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest, who pledged to cover the school fees of 50 students. The Vice Chancellor, Chimezi Omeonu, praised Davido's contribution to education and motivation for young Africans to strive for excellence.
