Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Discusses Marriage and Divorce Views

In an interview on the Afropolitan Podcast, veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde discussed her views on marriage and divorce. She emphasized that divorce is not an option for her, attributing the strength of her 30-year marriage to her husband, Matthew Ekeinde, to qualities such as selflessness, humility, and a strong bond of trust.

Omotola clarified that her stance on divorce is not a judgment on others' marriages, stating that every marriage is unique and influenced by individual circumstances. She acknowledged that throughout her marriage, she has faced issues such as jealousy and competition with other women but noted that her husband has always respected and trusted her.

Omotola expressed that it would be difficult to imagine separating from Matthew, highlighting their deep connection. Even if she were to walk away from the marriage, she would still remain an important part of her husband's life.

The couple, married since 1996, has four children together.
