Annie Macaulay Clarifies Status After 2Baba Separation

Annie Macaulay, a Nollywood actress, has publicly stated that she does not identify as a single mother despite her separation from singer 2Baba (2Face Idibia). In a post on Instagram, she emphasized that she is a single woman raising two daughters, Isabella and Olivia Idibia.

This statement comes after 2Baba announced their separation in January 2025, highlighting that their marriage, which began in 2012, had not worked for a long time. Following the announcement, 2Baba introduced a new partner, Natasha Osawuru, an Edo State lawmaker.

Annie Macaulay had initially removed her husband's surname from her social media accounts but later reinstated it. Throughout their 13-year marriage, the couple has faced significant public scrutiny.
