Enugu Governor Peter Mbah Defects from PDP to APC, Citing Lack of Recognition

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has announced his defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to a perceived lack of recognition for his voice within the PDP. Mbah highlighted his alignment with the vision of APC leaders like President Bola Tinubu and former Governor Sullivan Chime.

His decision was made public during a broadcast to the people of Enugu State. This move comes amidst other political figures defecting from the PDP ahead of the 2027 elections, including former PDP National Secretary Sundai Ud Okoy.
