Uzor Arukwe Explains Silence on Alexx Ekubo's Death

Uzor Arukwe, a Nollywood actor, addressed his silence regarding the death of fellow actor Alexx Ekubo, who passed away recently. Arukwe shared that he chose not to publicly react immediately due to the overwhelming nature of grief, which made it difficult for him to find the right words.

He reflected on his first meeting with Ekubo, describing him as warm, humble, and respectful. Arukwe emphasized that people will ultimately remember others for their kindness rather than their professional achievements.

He noted that not every farewell needs to be expressed publicly, and he preferred to carry Ekubo's memory in his heart. Alexx Ekubo was laid to rest on May 11 in Ujari, Arochukwu Local Government Area, Abia State, with a burial ceremony attended by many prominent figures from Nollywood.

Abia State Governor Alex Otti, represented by Chief of Staff Pastor Caleb Ajagba, described Ekubo's death as a significant loss to the state and the Nigerian entertainment industry.
