Why Kwankwaso May Not Support Tinubu In 2027 – Galadima

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), has suggested that former Kano strongman Rabiu Kwankwaso may not support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. Galadima cited Tinubu's treatment of Kwankwaso and the NNPP in Kano, where Kwankwaso's friend was removed as governor by the APC.

He also mentioned the controversial appointment of two emirs in one town by the Federal Government, which led to unrest in the area. Galadima criticized the excessive security measures taken to protect the Emir of Kano, questioning why the police were guarding him while people were being killed in the state.

This insight raises doubts about Kwankwaso's potential alliance with Tinubu in the upcoming elections.
