Nigerians Urged to Embrace Traditional Medicine Solutions

During the official opening of Dr. Angela Chinda's traditional medicine center at Abacha Barrack, Abuja, Dr.

Ibrahim Dada Nakowa, a prominent figure in traditional medicine practice in Nigeria, emphasized the importance of leveraging the power of medicinal plants. He advocated for traditional medicine as a viable alternative to orthodox medicine, highlighting its potential to address various health challenges.

Dr. Nakowa noted that traditional remedies have the capability to treat a wide range of ailments, suggesting that individuals should explore these options, especially when conventional medical solutions are insufficient.

Nakowa for his presence and support, sharing her own journey from skepticism to appreciation of traditional medicine after visiting practices in Lagos and Cameroon. The event also featured Dr.

Shaba Maikudi, who represented the Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association, reinforcing the significance of traditional medicine in the healthcare landscape.
