Bwala further criticized Obi's past, stating that during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Obi's church affiliations did not resonate with the grassroots, leading to disenfranchisement. He concluded that Obi's support among religious leaders does not equate to genuine grassroots backing, which is essential for a presidential candidate in Nigeria.
