Prof. Kila: Wike Can Support APC But Cannot Stop PDP From Fielding Presidential Candidate

Professor Anthoni Kila, a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), commented on Governor Nyesom Wike's support for the APC's presidential candidate. Kila emphasized that Wike does not have the authority to prevent the entire PDP from fielding a presidential candidate in the 2027 elections.

This statement follows violent clashes at the PDP national secretariat. Kila noted that members are free to support any candidate, including Wike's interest in supporting Tinubu for the APC presidency.
