Jibrin Praises Wike's Contributions to APC and Tinubu

Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, commended Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, as a valuable asset to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Jibrin stated that Wike has made substantial political sacrifices for the APC and the Tinubu administration, asserting that all APC members have benefited from Wike’s efforts, particularly in the political realignment that shifted Rivers State towards the ruling party.

Jibrin urged APC governors to approach issues involving Wike with diplomacy rather than public criticism. He also expressed confidence that Tinubu would secure at least 65 percent of the votes in the 2027 presidential election, citing increased popularity for the president in northern Nigeria, particularly in Kano State, despite the influence of former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Jibrin indicated that APC leaders in Kano are mobilizing for the upcoming election.
