Gov. Fubara Commits to Completing Port Harcourt Ring Road Project in Rivers State

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has vowed to complete the Port Harcourt Ring Road project, spanning six local government areas, by October. The project, valued at billions of naira, includes the construction of six flyovers and river-crossing bridges.

Fubara expressed determination to prioritize infrastructure development despite political challenges. He acknowledged the project as Gov.

Nyesom Wike's brainchild and emphasized its significance. Fubara assured that the project would be completed within the set timeline, with Julius Berger Nigeria Plc handling the construction.

The governor also mentioned his warm relationship with his predecessor, Gov. Wike, and their shared commitment to the state's development.

Fubara recently participated in a peace meeting brokered by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja.
