Cross River PDP Faction Rejects Wike's Influence, Emphasizes Party Autonomy

A faction within the Cross River State PDP has distanced itself from Wike, alleging his collaboration with the national secretariat during the state congress. Ewa, the faction chairman, criticized Wike's influence and emphasized the party's autonomy.

Ewa also condemned defecting officials and stressed the need for strong party structures. He denied claims of joining the ADC and reaffirmed loyalty to PDP.

The faction highlighted the importance of remaining steadfast in the party, citing Bola Tinubu as an example.
