Governor Wike Reinstates FCT Officials Amid Indiscipline Warning

Governor Wike of Rivers State has reinstated Dr. Danlami Hayyo as the FCT Education Secretary and Michael Ango as the Acting Executive Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service.

The reinstatements come after the officials were suspended for separate incidents. Wike emphasized discipline among FCT officials and directed the reinstated officials to resume duties immediately.

The reasons for the suspensions were related to security concerns and were issued through circulars. Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of Public Communication and Social Media, confirmed Wike's directive.
