Wike, Senator Bamidele, and Others to Receive Democracy Heroes Award in 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Democracy Heroes Award Africa, organized by the Face of Democracy Nigeria project, will honor notable personalities like FCT Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Senator Sani Musa, Opeyemi Bamidele, and former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. The event, themed "Legacy Leadership: Powering Africa's Future," will take place on October 16th at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.

The award recognizes political leaders, entrepreneurs, and entertainers for their contributions to democracy, job creation, youth empowerment, and poverty alleviation. The Project Director of FDN highlighted the importance of acknowledging those who deepen the culture of democracy in Nigeria and Africa.
