Deji Adeyanju Accuses Nyesom Wike of Unlawful Land Seizures in Nigeria

Deji Adeyanju, a lawyer, has accused former Governor Nyesom Wike of allegedly seizing land belonging to ordinary Nigerians and allocating it to his associates. Adeyanju further alleges that the FCT Minister has been acting above the law by revoking lands without proper justification.

One specific example cited is the Santo property, where 30 hectares of land in Gaduwa were allegedly taken despite an agreement to return a portion for public use. Adeyanju warns of broader economic and environmental consequences, claiming that banks are no longer accepting land titles as collateral due to the minister's actions.

The situation escalated when a military officer, Yerima, was reportedly involved in a confrontation with Wike.
