Governor Fubara Frustrated as Meeting with Rivers Assembly Delayed by Governor Wike

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State is yet to have a reconciliation meeting with the Rivers State Assembly, as Governor Nyesom Wike has not facilitated the process. Fubara has made repeated efforts, led by the State Elder Council, to meet with the lawmakers but to no avail.

He emphasizes the importance of peace and stability for the development of Rivers State and clarifies that his recent political alignment with the APC aims to consolidate peace and support President Bola Tinubu's agenda. The delay in the reconciliation process is seen as preventing misunderstandings and undermining peace efforts.
