Will Stakeholders Reinvent PDP at November National Convention in Ibadan?

The forthcoming National Convention of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan, Oyo State, is seen as the last hope for the main opposition party to reinvent itself. The November 2025 elective conference aims to reunite the party, reposition its vision, and chart a bold path towards restoring the nation's prosperity and economic development.

The convention, scheduled to take place at Adamasingba Stadium, is expected to bring together delegates, party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters from across Nigeria to strategize the party's future. The event, branded as Ibadan2025, will focus on crafting actionable policies to drive the country towards inclusive growth, job creation, infrastructure strengthening, and sustainable development.

Stakeholders believe the convention will foster reconciliation, heal past divisions, and build a cohesive platform to advance the PDP's vision. Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State emphasized the need for transparency and a successful convention to help the party reclaim its lost glory since 2015.
