Wolverhampton Wanderers Relegated from EPL After 8 Years

Wolverhampton Wanderers has officially been relegated from the English Premier League (EPL), ending an eight-year stay in the top division. The confirmation came after a 3-0 loss to Leeds United on Saturday, which, combined with a 0-0 draw between West Ham United and Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, sealed their fate.

Wolverhampton finished the season with only 33 points, 17 points adrift of safety, making them the first club in 138 years of top-flight football in England to collect just two points from their first 18 matches. They also set an EPL record by failing to win their first 19 matches and lost 22 matches throughout the season, failing to keep a clean sheet in the first half of the season.

Their relegation highlights a disappointing campaign, with upcoming fixtures against Tottenham, Sunderland, Brighton, Fulham, and Burnley remaining.
