Wolves Denounce Racist Abuse Against Arokodare

Wolverhampton Wanderers issued a strong condemnation of the racist abuse directed at their 25-year-old striker, Tolu Arokodare, after he missed a penalty during a match against Crystal Palace. The club expressed its disgust at the numerous instances of racist messages aimed at Arokodare on social media, following the fixture.

Wolverhampton Wanderers emphasized that there is no place for racism in football or anywhere in society, condemning such abhorrent behavior in the strongest possible terms. Arokodare, who joined the club in the summer and has scored two goals, faced this abuse after the match, where the team struggled against an off-form Crystal Palace.

The club declared its full support for Arokodare, stating that no player should endure such hatred while simply doing their job. Additionally, Wesley Fofana, a player from Chelsea, received similar racist messages after receiving a red card in a draw against Burnley.
