WordenHCD and Access Bank Launch Spark-ED 2.0 Initiative

WordenHCD Limited, in collaboration with Access Bank, has initiated the second edition of its Spark-ED initiative, known as Spark-ED 2.0, aimed at equipping over 2,500 primary and secondary school students in Lagos State with essential financial, digital, and entrepreneurial skills. The program is currently being implemented in selected schools, including Muritala Ajadi School in Surulere, Hope Rising Primary School in Bariga, and Millard Primary School in Ikeja, with plans for further expansion.

Ifreke Brendan, Chief Operating Officer of WordenHCD, stated that the initiative addresses the need for young people to acquire competencies that extend beyond academic knowledge, focusing on money management and leveraging technology. The program emphasizes practical application, encouraging students to identify community challenges and develop solutions.

Spark-ED 2.0 aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindsets, laying a foundation for lifelong learning and responsible financial behavior among the youth.
