Kylian Mbappe, the captain of the French national football team, has made a prediction regarding the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada. During an interaction with football creator Finn Agostinelli, Mbappe was asked to choose between Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, and Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, regarding who would score more goals in the tournament.

Mbappe selected Messi as the player likely to score more goals. He also mentioned other players he believes will perform well, including Spain's Lamin Yamal, Florian Wirtz, Memphis Depay, Mohamed Salah, and Erling Haaland.

Additionally, he backed his Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr. and England captain Harry Kane as potential goal scorers. The World Cup is set to commence on Thursday.
