Despite the prevailing pessimism surrounding the England camp, he maintains a hunch that with a bit of luck, England could clinch the trophy. However, he firmly expressed that he would not place a bet on England's victory, indicating a cautious optimism.

Jordan noted that France and Argentina had previously won matches during the summer tournament, while England had not secured a victory against Ghana, although they advanced from their group unbeaten and finished in first place.
