Yahaya Bello Urges Kogi Lawmakers to Support Governor Ododo’s Leadership (VIDEO)

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has called on members of the State House Assembly, elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to fully support Governor Usman Ododo's administration for the sake of political stability and development. Bello made this appeal while receiving a delegation of APC lawmakers led by State Yusuf Okala at his Abuja residence.

The team presented Hassan Shado, a newly elected member representing Okura State Constituency, who recently defeated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in a viral video meeting. Bello emphasized the importance of working in harmony with the executive arm of government for the democracy to function effectively, cautioning lawmakers against unnecessary confrontations.

He highlighted the need for the assembly members to avoid being misled and to focus on the people's welfare.
