Yari's Emerg Movement Boosts Support for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

The Emerg Movement, spearheaded by former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari, has rapidly gained nationwide momentum in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid for the 2027 Nigerian general elections. Within an hour of its launch, thousands of Nigerians from various regions began registering as members.

The movement reportedly links 30 state governors and several influential political figures, reflecting a growing interest in consolidating political support for Tinubu. This initiative follows months of consultations with political stakeholders, grassroots leaders, youth organizations, and women's groups.

The movement aims to mobilize grassroots support and enhance political engagement across Nigeria's 774 local government areas. It is driven by a belief in Nigeria's economic recovery and institutional reforms under Tinubu's leadership.
