Yilwatda Skips Fubara Screening Amid Political Tensions

Nentaw Yilwatda, who is associated with the All Progressives Congress (APC), reportedly skipped the screening for Fubara, which was overseen by the APC screening committee led by the national chairman. Sources indicated that Governor Nyesom Wike's camp received a smooth passage during this process.

Typically, Yilwatda is present during such screenings, but he did not attend the session for Fubara. When approached for comments regarding his absence, Yilwatda declined to speak to the media.

The situation is complicated by ongoing political conflicts stemming from Wike's control over the political structure in Rivers State, which has been in place for nearly three years. The screening process for Fubara was described as lacking drama, contrasting with the political tensions surrounding it.
