Yoruba Nollywood Star, Omotola Odunsi Is Dead

Yoruba Nollywood star Omotola Odunsi has passed away, confirmed by colleague Bakare Zainab in a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Known for her role in Lisabi alongside Lateef Adedimeji, Omotola was described as a rising star in the Yoruba movie industry.

Colleagues like Ashabi and Portable mourned her sudden death, recalling her talent and kindness. In another tragic incident, fish entrepreneur Ifesinachi Onyekere, also known as Fish Magnet, was reportedly abducted and attacked in Anambra State.

Eyewitnesses claim he was shot in the leg and abducted by assailants in a Toyota Corolla. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.

Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko called for improved security in Nigeria following these incidents. The entertainment industry is in mourning over these losses.
