Dele Momodu Defends Against Omokri, Fani-Kayode Attacks

Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, publicly rebuked Reno Omokri and Femi Fani-Kayode for their pro-Tinubu comments, stating, "You cannot bully me into submission." Momodu described the duo as "perpetual agents of perfidy" and criticized their moral authority to challenge him. He emphasized that their attacks stem from a desperate attempt to defend President Tinubu's administration, which he likened to a dictatorial regime.

Momodu drew parallels between Tinubu's governance and the military dictatorship that annulled the electoral victory of late Chief MKO Abiola. He expressed no regret in labeling Tinubu's administration as dictatorial and revealed that both Omokri and Fani-Kayode had privately sought public apologies from him on multiple occasions following their public attacks.
