Bauchi Governor Rejects Pressure to Join APC, Warns Against Threats to Democracy

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has firmly refused to join the APC, denouncing alleged attempts by the federal government to coerce opposition politicians. He warned against using power to intimidate opposition figures, emphasizing the importance of a strong democracy.

Governor Mohammed also expressed worries about the independence of the electoral commission (INEC) and urged for fair elections. He highlighted the need to uphold political principles and resist rumors and propaganda.
