You can’t suspend me, I already joined ADC – Ex-Kogi senator tells PDP

Former Kogi Central Senatorial District representative, Ahmed Ogembe, has been dismissed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State. The PDP accused Ogembe of boasting about collapsing the party structure in Okene LGA and subsequently suspended him.

However, Ogembe responded by stating that he had already joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and therefore could not be suspended by the PDP. He described the PDP's actions as a betrayal of trust and deliberate attempt to undermine the party's interests.

Ogembe emphasized that he no longer belonged to the PDP and that the suspension was invalid. The situation highlights the political tensions within the PDP in Kogi State and the growing influence of the ADC in the region.
