You Have Failed Yourselves, Your Party – APC Fires PDP Governors

The APC has criticized PDP governors for alleged undemocratic conduct and lack of vision, stating that the ruling party lacks an agenda that will garner support from the electorate in 2027. The APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the PDP as being in a "coma" and savagely crippled by internal crises, making it unrecognizable from its former self.

The APC further stated that the PDP governors have failed themselves and their party, predicting a doomed fate for the opposition party in the upcoming elections. The statement was made in response to emerging reports of a meeting between PDP governors in Zamfara State on August 23, 2025.
